My house is built into a hill with a shingled roof there were issues with the construction side walls made of concrete blocks and they bowed out the repair reinforcing the block with plate steel attached to cables and some type of a deadman anchor I do not know how deep these are buried or how far out but i need to route rain water so i do not wash out my hill and keep it from migrating to my driveway

This might not be something you want to do…but it is a good thing to do.
Think about installing a water tank in the ground that collects water from your gutters. The overflow can be diverted into the sewer system or out away from the house. The collected water can be used later in dry weather to water your yard and keep it nice looking. Since it is not city water you have no restrictions on when or how much you can water.
